The Oral Tradition

Besides the written Golden Dawn and Rosicrucian material, there is a vast corpus of material that has never been published which is generally referred to by the term "the oral tradition."

The Foundation of the Oral Tradition

The oral tradition arose out of the experiences of the members of the esoteric Orders. Much like Kabbalah is passed on from one student to another, so too is the oral tradition of the Golden Dawn system.

What is contained in the Oral Tradition

*Material that can not be communicated on paper or other media; material that can only be transmitted from person to person due to its energetic aspect.

*Fuller explainations of the written material.

*Experimental and developing techniques (and knowledge) that has yet to be completed tested or intergrated into the system's lessons.

*The secret "code keys" to an Order's link with the current of the tradition.
