Welcome to the homepage of Bast Temple

(BIOGD & BIORC #2; originally IIOGD & EOEW)

Golden Dawn in the Outer

RR et AC (Roseae Rubae et Aureae Crucis) in the Inner

Proudly serving the Golden Dawn community of Denver, Colorado and the Front Range since 2000.

Announcement: June 5th 2009 Open Full Moon ritual

is being led by a couple members of Bast Temple.

Bast Temple provides physical (lodge) Grade initiations for its members: it holds bimonthly meetings and classes in the Western (Hermetic) Mystery Tradition.

Bast Temple also sponsors the occasional public ritual or class.

Its curriculum draws from both the written published material and the unwritten oral tradition of Golden Dawn and the Stella Matutina (though a contact from the Smaragdum Thalasses/Whare Ra/Thoth-Hermes linage). It also includes gems from several other esoteric systems.

Furthermore, our officers provide insights from their own personal magical and mystical practices; due to this, Bast Temple considers itself a developing branch of the Hermetic/Rosicrucian Order started in 1888.

The religious background of the membership of Bast Temple is diverse, and has included Christians, Wiccans and Jews.

Besides members in Denver Colorado, Bast Temple, over the course of its existence has served members in Arvada, Wheatridge, Breckenridge, Evergreen, and Cheyenne Wyoming. Two of the officers have also served as Proctors (advisors) for those working their way though the Cicero book: Self-Initiation into the Golden Dawn Tradition.

Potential members of Bast Temple have to undergo an interview, a public meeting, and must be approved by a vote of the current membership before they can become members of the lodge and receive their first initiation or attend regular meetings.
